While Rite Window prides itself on the quality of our window, we know that sometimes life happens and you need to activate your warranty for service requests. Whether itโs children throwing a baseball too close to the house or simply a broken lock, Rite Windowโs service team is here to help fix your window as soon as we can. In order to best help you, our service team often needs to know which window we need to look at and if you need to buy multiple windows in the same room, which can become tricky. That is why we utilize window identification stickers on every one of our windows so that we can take the confusion out of the situation.
At Rite Window, all our window units feature an identification sticker, located on the inside of the frame, used to denote certification and identify specific details of the window. On this sticker, you will find the window size, glass package, manufacturer, and full DNA of the unit. Follow the 6, simple steps listed below to locate the identification sticker on your double-hung window.
How to Find the Identification Sticker
- Push the two levers outward to unlock your window.
- Carefully pull down the top sash of your window.
- Look straight up into the frame to notice the brightly colored sticker.
- Collect the specifications you are searching for.
- Carefully slide the top sash back up, into place.
- Push the two levers inward to lock your window.
